Hello farm friends!
This week’s produce boxes will have choice of two greens (kale, swiss chard, collards, lettuce mix), turnips, choice of green onions or chives, and a large portion of broccoli in it. $20 + sales tax, paid upon pick-up.
To reserve your box this week, please follow these simple steps
- respond to this email with your desired pick-up date (Wednesday 5/11 or Saturday 5/14) **for Wednesday, please respond by 5pm on Tuesday; for Saturday, please respond by 5pm on Thursday
- check for confirmation email from Pressly
- pick up your box at Renfrow Hardware during business hours (Wednesday 8am-5pm; Saturday 8am-2pm)
- payment accepted upon pick-up: $20+tax (cash, check, or credit card)
- EAT & ENJOY your fresh, organically grown veggies!!
Additionally, I’ll have individual bunches of kale, collards, swiss chard, turnips, beets, lettuce, green onions, and broccoli available at Renfrow Hardware Wednesday through Saturday this week. They’ll be set up inside the store as a mini-farm stand until we open the real farm stand starting on Tuesday, June 7th.

We had an absolute blast hosting hundreds of folks at the farm this past weekend as part of the Wing Haven Garden Tour. Check out this brief time-lapse video we set up to document a bit of the action!
Lilly’s house is finally all dolled up and organized, thanks primarily to MB and to the father-son duo, Aaron and Aaron McPherson, our favorite carpenters who installed shelving units for us to organize our event rental decor, built us a pull-down stairway to the attic, and moved all of the heaviest furniture out of the main room!
Sid, David, and I were all smiles at the end of a successful garden tour day as all of our hard work in preparation had come to an end and was paid off by a beautiful weekend!

Companion Planting is an ancient concept that is new again. We’ll look at ways to get more fresh food from your garden, attract pollinators and beneficial insects, and repel the critters that cause us trouble.
